Ryan Brown founded Insights & Actions Consulting LLC in 2020. After holding positions in organizational effectiveness with several large reputable organizations, Ryan now offers his services as an external consultant.
Having the opportunity to work for two large multi-hospital health care systems and one of the largest health insurance organizations in the United States, Ryan has worked on many high risk and highly visible projects. Some of his key accomplishments in the industry are:
Lead the change management for an employee engagement program that impacted over 9,000 colleagues and 3 hospitals. The program increased engagement by 47%, 21%, and 13%, in one quarter, for each of the respective hospitals.
Lead the change management for a software implementation that impacted 13,000 employees across 5 hospitals while creating standardization in processes and policies.
Enhance the effectiveness of 2 health care systems and a health insurance organization through consulting on organizational culture.
Consult on one of the largest electronic health record implementations to occur in the world.
Provide change management consulting for a learning management system software implementation that impacted 33,000+ employees across 6 hospitals, ambulatory sites, corporate offices, and a health insurance organization.
Lead the strategy and execution for employee engagement initiatives for a 5-hospital healthcare system.
Develop customized organizational development interventions through the use of the ADDIE model.
Prior to industry work, Ryan’s background was in academia. He is published as an author in the academic journal of Obesity Research and Clinical Practice. Additionally, Ryan presented at the national conference for the Society of Behavioral Medicine in 2013. He spent three years in a social science research lab at Oakland University and one year of a consulting/lab hybrid role with the University of Detroit Mercy.
Ryan holds a M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy and B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Oakland University. During his time at Oakland University Ryan competed as an NCAA Division 1 athlete in the sport of Track and Field.
